The Jumpking Ovalpod 15ft X 10ft Trampoline
This oval trampoline from Jumpking is an excellent value alternative to a full rectangular trampoline.
Once we got our hands on this trampoline we were completely won over. It was easy to put together, the quality of materials is excellent, and it just looks the part.
The shape solves the problem of how to squeeze a decent size trampoline into a narrow garden and has much less 'wasted' space than other circular trampolines.
The build quality is what really makes this trampoline stand out against the competition though.
The base frame is 5cm galvanised steel, and the legs are 5.7cm galvanised steel,making it much stonger than any other trampoline frame on the market.
Strong 'T' shaped connectors allow you to slot the legs directly into the frame, so no complicated or weak joints.
The pod reaches 6ft above the jump surfaces and is made of strong, weatherproof black polyester mesh. The frame is bowed out around the pads giving clearance and more strength - no danger of children bouncing against hard uprights.
The frame is also coated in thick, high density foam.
Entry and exit is through a tough zipper system with extra strong clips once inside to reduce strain on this potential weak point.
The bounce is where it's at though, and the OvalPod has plenty of that. 90 galvanised steel springs, arranged under and over the frame give the best mix of vertical bounce on the way up, and reducing strain on the way down.
The pads are made of 25MM foam, and covered with a tough weatherproof 14oz blue vinyl cover that is almost impossible to tear.
